The most active Pittsburgh organization of, by, and for immigrants, hands down, is Casa San José. It should be acknowledged that Casa's particular and exclusive remit is Spanish-speaking immigrants. Casa does great work and is deserving of support.

As I am of the belief that I am fairly feckless the discussion on "friction," its presence or absence, was especially interesting.
My first exposure to Utah Phillips was an in-person performance. The reverberations are still being felt nearly a half-century later.
